B-KELANA International Joins Kwibuka 32 Commemoration under the Theme “Remember–Unite–Renew”
As Rwanda observes Kwibuka 32—the 32nd commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi—B-KELANA International joins the nation in honoring the memory of the victims and standing in solidarity with survivors during the 100-day period of remembrance that began on April 7, 2026.
This year’s commemoration is guided by the national theme: “Remember–Unite–Renew.” The theme serves as a powerful reminder of Rwanda’s journey of remembrance, healing, reconciliation, and collective responsibility in building a united and resilient society.
Memorial Visit to Nyanza Genocide Memorial Site
As part of Kwibuka 32 commemorative activities, B-KELANA International conducted a memorial visit to the Nyanza Genocide Memorial Site on 26 June 2026. The visit formed an important part of the Firm’s participation in the national remembrance period and reflected its commitment to honoring the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
During the visit, staff members paid tribute to those who lost their lives, reflected on the tragic history of the Genocide against the Tutsi, and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting unity, human dignity, and peace.
The visit also provided an opportunity for collective learning and reflection on the responsibility of every Rwandan to safeguard the achievements of national unity and reconciliation.

Remember
The first pillar, Remember, calls upon Rwandans and the international community to honor the memory of more than one million lives lost during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. It is a solemn moment to remember the victims, support survivors, and ensure that the lessons of history are preserved for future generations.
For B-KELANA International, remembrance is both a duty and a responsibility. By reflecting on the past, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that genocide never happens again and that the memories of those who perished continue to inspire a future built on truth and justice.

Unite
The second pillar, Unite, emphasizes the importance of standing together against genocide ideology, hate speech, discrimination, and all forms of division.
B-KELANA International recognizes that unity remains one of Rwanda’s greatest strengths and a cornerstone of sustainable development. As a Firm committed to integrity, professionalism, and teamwork, we continue to promote mutual respect, collaboration, and inclusiveness within our workplace and in the communities we serve.
By embracing shared values and fostering positive relationships, we contribute to strengthening social cohesion and advancing Rwanda’s vision of a united nation.

Renew
The final pillar, Renew, calls upon individuals and institutions to renew their commitment to human dignity, resilience, and the continued building of a peaceful and prosperous future.
B-KELANA International embraces this call by investing in capacity building, ethical leadership, professional development, and responsible corporate citizenship. Through our work, we seek to empower individuals and organizations with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to contribute positively to society.
As we remember the past and celebrate the progress Rwanda has made, we renew our commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, unity, and peace for future generations,

A Collective Commitment
Kwibuka 32 reminds us that remembrance is not only about honoring the past but also about shaping the future. Through remembrance, unity, and renewal, Rwanda continues to demonstrate extraordinary resilience and progress.
B-KELANA International stands with the nation during this period of commemoration and reflection, honoring the victims, supporting survivors, and reaffirming its commitment to building a society founded on unity, dignity, and lasting peace.

B-KELANA International reaffirms its commitment to preserving the memory of the victims, supporting survivors, and upholding the values that unite us as a nation. Guided by this year’s theme, “Remember–Unite–Renew,” we recognize that remembrance must inspire action, unity must overcome division, and renewal must strengthen our shared responsibility to build a future founded on peace, dignity, and mutual respect. Together, let us continue to honor the past by shaping a more compassionate, resilient, and united Rwanda for generations to come.
